INFO
Cover and spread illustration for Scientific American’s March 2022 special issue: How COVID Changed the World. Full issue here.

Unfortunately, in 2024, COVID is still a major issue due to factors like viral mutations, waning immunity, dismantling of public health measures, and Long COVID — which can affect anyone, cause long-term disability, and currently has no treatment nor cure. Some resources (unaffiliated): the PCDC Weather Report and the "Swiss Cheese Method" of defense. "Prevention is better than cure": to counter airborne pathogens, use ventilation, filtration, and KN-95 or N95 masks. This statement is my own and may not reflect the views of my clients, including SciAm.
